In the previous debate on God's existence between Phil Bair and Juan from Modern Atheism, the side topic of animal pain and suffering came up. I removed that section of the debate (10 mins or less total) at the request of both of the debaters to focus in on the main topic of debate.

However, Omar was passionate about the subject and wanted to discuss it further with me- here is the conversation we had!

OK this is another debate between myself on the Christian side and a Muslim named Daniel. We had a very cordial, respectful and substantive debate on the topic of "Is Muhammed a True Prophet or Not?". I took up the negative side answering No, Muhammed is NOT a true prophet and Daniel took up the affirmative. Interestingly, Daniel is a Quran-only Muslims and hence appealing to the Hadith traditions is totally irrelevant for him and as such the only sources he considers to be inspired and authoritative are the Torah, Prophets, Gospels (and the Johannine epistles too apparently) and the Quran. We restricted ourselves to debating Muhammed's prophethood on the basis of 4-6 criteria that Daniel claims represent the Biblical test for prophethood.Enjoy :)

This was not an episode I had planned on doing and indeed it was not one I had any desire to do, but I have to expose the newly discovered truth about Hugh Farey as a purposeful liar! I recently did a great show with Modern Atheism in which we discussed the Shroud, many skeptics on there seemed to be in good faith and I appreciated their inputs very much. However, there were also a few rotten eggs and true to form, Hugh Farey showed up to egg them on so to speak by posting his usual insulting, condescending and/or belittling posts about me in front of his fellow skeptical underlings who just blindly and mindlessly believe anything and everything he says. This is just business as usual in dealing with Hugh Farey online, but shockingly, something new happened this time... Hugh Farey seems to have exposed himself as a direct, willful and purposeful liar who will say anything to defend the cause of Shroud skepticism, even at the expense of God's truth!For years, I denied this was the case, I refused to listen to those who tried to warn me and hence, in the light of his recent denial of the one piece of evidence I used to believe proved he was honest regardless of any impact on the Shroud skeptical agenda; it appears I was wrong and so I apologize to those who warned me, I was wrong to defend Hugh as a good faith and honest to a fault opponent.
