Real Synthetic Audio For iTunes

Spent the week basically bedridden as I "recovered" from my flu last week, then proceeded to push myself too far. So I spent a few days taking my time and resting, and voila! I left the house and got RSA done today. It's nice to eat food. I remember that now. But it was nice to sit down and have some fun working on RSA instead of lying in bed. This week we've got a great mix of the synthie and the aggro!

Agnis - Vamp (Freaky Mind)

Phaser One feat. Echodead - Poison

Mesh - Exile (Edit)

Alex Braun - Wrong Direction

Apologies, you'll find in this weeks show that I was planning on posting the show earlier on Saturday, but before I could hit "publish" I got taken down with the flu. After a couple of days bedridden, I'm up and shakey today, but capable to posting this weeks show! So before I go back to recuperating, lets see what I have in store for you...

And we're back with the first show of 2026! For once when I started going through my inbox for material to play this week, there wasn't a huge bunch of discs from like August that I still have to go through. Maybe after 28 years(!) of doing this show I've managed to learn a bit. Or get organized. I'm sure it's just a coincidence. So let's enjoy a new episode of RSA before we all have to go back to work/school/etc!

Monochrome - Unbound

Welcome to the annual best of show! This year we go back through everything we've played over the course of 2025, condense the year into 16 tracks, and voila! I got some great suggestions from people, and had a few "obvious" ones written down for months. But it was worth it to listen to everything, a few gems always pop up that I've forgotten. So enjoy this slightly early show as my Christmas gift for you all to listen to on new devices and toys!

Last week of the "normal" year as we present to you the penultimate episode of RSA for 2025. For those keeping track, this is episode #1367! The holiday obligations are plentiful, but I've budgeted enough time to get the show finished next week. I was actually surprised by a few tracks that I would have glanced over if I was choosing tracks visually. But listening to every show seems to always strike gold!

cut.rate.box - Fireshine (Extended)

DSTRTD SGNL & Talla 2XLC - Dreams (Dark Club)

I've gotten some good suggestions for the best of 2025 emailed to me! Only 2 more weeks until CHristmas is over and I give you my gift, an extra long show. I've begun ordering prizes for the 2026 membership drive. The theme is going to be "flat" to get around the craziness that is trying to mail anything to the USA. This week we've got a great mix of the synth and the agression along with my usual comical attempts at pronouncing words I haven't encountered before!

Asphodel Ivory - Eclipse (Teknovore)

Evo-Lution - Dein Takt

Beyond Border - Machines (Eisfabrik)

X Marks The Pedwalk - Automatic Hero

Kommision Z80 - Deny, Defend, Dispose! (Stahlschlag)

After a week from hell, I did manage to spend most of my Friday night blissed out and listening to music for RSA. There's some really neat stuff in here this week, including an interesting cover. All tracks now are eligible for the best of 2026 next year. But I think I have about half of the anual year end show picked. If you have any suggestions, please feel free to email me!

Faderhead - We All Smile Here (Nothing's Fine)

The homelab is all nice and fixed, but I never did get an offer for a stack of Hard Drives. :) Stuff like that is getting ridiculously expensive because of all of the Goddamned AI data centers which create nothing but heat. We've got a great show for everyone this week, as the first track I picked had a very fast tempo, and as I've said, that tends to spread to the rest of the show. Also, I begin picking tracks for the best of 2025. Good lord, how is it only 4 weeks until I have to get the show ready!

Neuroklast - Succubus (feat. Cassiopeja)

Deadly Injection - Religion (Destroy Me Again)

Vexillary - Kill Shot

EgoAmp - Insanity (Rob Dust feat. Scheuber)

Audiocall - Sparks (Steril feat. Arc Morten)

Dawn Of Ashes - Throne of Misanthropy (C-Lekktor)

Dunkelsucht - Escalate

Crushing State - Inner Anarchy (Solar Fake)

This weekend I get to play SysAdmin as my homelab (which stores all of my RSA material) had a disk failure in one of my servers. It's all parity protected, but I'm spending a good 20 hours moving data off another disk that I'm kinda suspicious of. If anyone wants to donate a stack of 16TB SATA drives to me, I wouldn't say no at this point. But because I have lost data in the distant past, I've already learned my lesson. But this doesn't directly affect RSA at all, as we've got a great show for everyone. A higher tempo than usual, but the first track I selected was 150 bpm(!), that sets the tone for the rest of the show!

Zanias - Human

Prometheus Flame - March On Blaze

Vexillary - Kill Shot

Seelennacht - Grey Apartment Show

Faderhead - Cold Chrome

Exsequor - Asymmetric War

Phaser One - Rise From Within (Larcon)

DSTRTD_SGNL - Zick Zack

Things are more or less back to normal around here, as we prepare for the onset of Winter in Canada. This week I do put some emphasis on what the heck we're going to do about next years membership drive. I'm really looking for your feedback on what you'd like to receive in return for donations. I'm looking at Enamel pins (much like the Sanctuary pins that are on my "battle jacket"). Sadly the patches we did prior to the pandemic are insanely expensive now. If you have one, it's a collectiors item! THis wek we also expanded to 9 songs instead of the usual 8. In the new world of more singles than full length albums, we'll have to adapt and try to keep the quantity as high as the quality. :)

XPQ-21 - Dance With The Devil

Elektrostaub - Too Far From The Pack (Salva Maine)

Aesthetic Perfection - We Bring The Beat

Absurd Minds - Fractured (Autodafeh)

Data Kino - Rock It Again

Komission Z80 - Choose (Ruined Conflict)

Destroy Me Again - The Shards

Extize - Cyberghost

Audiocall - Retailers! (Single)
