I got a lot of great feedback about last weeks extra long theme show! I'm really glad you folks liked it, I haven't gotten that many emails about a show in years. We'll have to have another one. Probably closer to the 2026 membership drive! But we're back to our normal format of new music, and we've got a great show for everyone this week!

A few weeks ago I promised a theme show, I like to do extra long shows when I come back from one of my two "breaks" every year. It would appear that I've used up all of my RSA vacation time, so its smooth sailing from here to the end of the year. This week we're going 2 hours into the period of time from the late 90s to the early 2000s. I've tried to pick bands that were of that era, and are now defunct, but you'll probably notice a few bands that are going strong all these years later. I hope you enjoy this stroll down memory lane!

Boole - Sasquatch (2008)

Tristesse de la Lune - Time Is Moving (Negative Format) (2005)

A much better week than last, so I'm here with a show for you! I've made some progress on the upcoming theme show, the list of tracks has made it from my phone to my computer. The tracks picked came out to an even number, so I can use everything without making any cuts. The one hint I'll give away is we're looking at a timeframe from the late 90s to the early aughts. This week we've got a great show for everyone as I put a few discs to bed and play some more new stuff!

So my vacation didn't come off as I expected. I had a very, very large flare up of my anxiety disorder so I made the smart decision and stayed home rather be in distress while visiting friends. Its not the first time its happened, so I'm going to put a pause on overnight flights and multiple time zones. William Gibson once wrote that flying allowed us to travel faster than our souls, and it usually takes ~18 hours for them to catch up. But I'm much better now, almost back to normal, so what better way to celebrate than put out...

Getting psyched to get the heck outta here for a few days, crossing my T's and dotting my I's, and while doing so I was listening to stuff and the outlines of an idea for a theme show were formed. I'm still in the planning stages, but I think we'll have something special when I come back for the 21st. But until then we've got a great show for everyone and I've been bopping around to it for a few days, so I think you'll like it too!

I'm actually getting everything posted nice and early this week because I got up for my club Bike ride, and while I was in the shower it was cancelled due to the impending first heatwave of the year. While this is kids stuff compared to some places, I'm going to agree that cycling in temperatures including humidity reaching 43c (thats 110 in Freedom Units) is not a good idea. Discretion is the better part of valour and all that. But since I'm up nice and early I figured I'd get the show posted and have a cup of tea as I contemplate breakfast.

Elektrostaub - Falling f. Echo Image (Implant)

Fermion - Of What Remains

Excubitors - Worn But Awake

Kris Baha - Kiss Of Life

A beautiful weekend, so I made myself go for a walk and enjoy the sunshine before I posted the show this week. A small reminder that I'll be taking my last week of "vacation" from RSA shortly. So we'll be missing the July 14th episode as I bask in the sun in Scotland. Unlike a couple of years ago I'm not being an idiot and bringing my computer with me. I'm allowed to take a break, and I have to leave you wanting more!

Autodafeh - Under The Blood Red Sky
