Real Synthetic Audio For iTunes

I actually made it out and got some sun this weekend. This of course left me crashed out on the couch for a bit, and then a little bird whispered in my ear "Oi! Dork! You have a radio show to post!" So before I go and hunt down some food lets get RSA up for everyone to enjoy! This week while doing my "proof-listening" session I scrapped and re-did a bit of the show. I swear I do quality control, and I haven't accidentally left a Coke Zero belch in a show since 2012!

Ontario weather struck again, and while its nice and sunny, its downright cold in the small town I grew up in. So the weekend trip of nostalgia and family duties will have to wait until the end of the summer. But that just means that I have extra time this weekend, so RSA is out at the usual time! I doubt we'll be going back to the old "Summer Hours" where I'd post the show on Mondays. I don't live in the saddle anymore, so I have time for all of my various hobbies! Now who wants to import a Jonsbo N5 computer case or two into Canada so I can save some space! Great show this week with some new and some returning names!

A quick heads up that I'm already hard at work on next weeks show. I'm going to be away most of next weekend, so I'm trying to get everything done ahead of time. Fingers crossed that I can get everything done on time (and its looking good) and I can just get home on Sunday evening and hit "Publish". Its been a good week though, having the extra time to myself meant I could listen to more music. While I can do that while working, I'll "lose" time where my attention is 100% on work, and then have to figure out how far back to go to restart. I just wish the weather had been better. I quite enjoy sitting on my balcony with my headphones. Still too windy. Still too rainy.

A gray overcast day makes sense while we in Canada celebrate our ever increasingly anarchonistic holiday "Victoria Day". Traditionally this is known as the May two four weekend. Two four being common slang for a case of beer. While I don't really drink anymore, I'll be going out to resupply my stock of Root Beer, as I seem to have slightly regressed a bit back into childhood.

Sex Code - Your Silent Face

Studio-X - Clouds & Trees (Elektrostaub)

Managed to get some cycling in this weekend, so I get to spend Sunday morning lamenting the lack of exercise I've done in the past few months and get RSA complete! I'm going to take another week off some time in July as I take a vacation of some sort, but we'll burn that bridge when we get to it. A happy Mother's day to those that celebrate at this time of year. I always make sure to call my Mom if I can't visit. I mean, she's on the membership Friends of RSA! Have a great week and enjoy this weeks show!

Took a week off last week to get some stuff sorted out. Should called it a vacation weekend, but the fact is when your folks are gone for half the year that when they come back we make a point of visiting. I tried to sit down and finish the show last week, but I was burnt out. *I* sounded like hell, so I scrapped it and took a week off. Its better to recharge the batteries a bit than put out something substandard. I tried to let everyone know, but with the enshittification of social media, its hard to get the word out. I await the day people stop using Facebook as their primary way of communicating to the world!

Core In Motion - Lost (Sonic Sound Factory)

Welcome back to another exciting week of electronic music! Its the Easter weekend in Canada, and I have a 4 day weekend, so obviously on day 3 I'm finishing off the show. Gotta procrastinate as much as possible! I have a couple of packages to drop in the mail this week, my call out to everyone "Are you missing a prize?" did get some responses. I am quite glad that I didn't miss anyones name from the 2025 membership drive list. This week is a little synthpoppier than usual, but like I've always said, this is a big tent. Room for all sorts of variation and diversity in music!

This week I'm actually getting the show done early so that I can get out on my bicycle today! Lets see how far I get today without collapsing, gasping for air. I can feel that I haven't done any significant excercise since the late fall. But I'm cycling out to have a late lunch, so Sushi is my motivator! This week we delve into some great new releases and put a few discs to bed. I guess I'm going to have to think of another long theme show. I keep getting requests, so maybe a nice mid spring treat in May?

We're now officially into spring, and its safe for me to leave the house without freezing. Which means that RSA will slide into its summer schedule and the show will most likely be posted late on Sundays as I get chores done. The exciting life of an internet DJ! This week we've got an interesting mix of new stuff, including a mystery with Wolfgang Flur! Plus a nice bit of retro-ish stuff from Extize that reminds me of a great Val Solo track!

Its thoroughly "Great Britain" outside this weekend, only with the extra Canadian advantage of getting freezing rain overnight to make today a skating rink. Apparently. I did all of my errands yesterday so I wouldn't have to go out in this weather! All of teh US and Canadian packages for the membership drive have been delivered, and it looks like Overseas will be arriving next week! But this week we've got a great show for everyone as I clear out a tiny bit of stuff carried over from 2024 and a lot of brand new stuff including a release from a Remixer that I really like!
