In the last episode of this series, I have a think and a reflection about how talking has impacted my wellbeing. This podcast has been incredibly fun to create, and I want to say a massive thank you to everyone who listens. Hope you enjoy!
In the last full episode of this series, I chat to three close friends who identify as being part of the LGBT+ community. It's quite a full on episode as there's a lot to talk about given how much being LGBT+ can impact our wellbeing, and I'm very proud of this talk as I think we manage to represent what it's like to feel very different in a way that others will appreciate.
Travel is a huge passion for a lot of people including my guest Steph, but of course it's become a lot more difficult to get those pleasures recently with the pandemic closing international borders. In this episode we explore what it is about travelling that impacts Steph's Wellbeing positively, as well as talking about how the lack of travel impacts how we feel.
Being one of the most active and sporty people I know, I sit down with my brother Dan to talk about how sport and fitness impacts his wellbeing. We talk running, football, injuries, and about that one time he threw up on a tennis court.
Chelsea, Emma and Holly all had children and/or maternity leave during the pandemic. This was a big topic of conversation but we also talk about how being a new parent generally can impact their Wellbeing. What I loved about this episode is that although I couldn't directly relate to what they were saying, having no human children myself, there's still some really good points that other people like me could do with hearing.
In this episode I chat with my favourite Australian person, Alana, about her weight loss journey and how it has impacted her Wellbeing both positively and negatively.
In the first full episode of the series, Jess talks about how music impacts her wellbeing. Naturally, there's a bit of talk about Beyonce but mainly we talk about how music alters how we feel.
In this introduction episode, I run through what this project is all about, why I'm doing it and what you can expect from future episodes. Hope you like it!
