In this episode Shawn & Rashawn continue the conversation on how to effectively ask the right people for what we need. We must create value surrounding the people we are ultimately asking. How can we add value to the lives of those we are needing help from? Another key is simply asking until you get what it is that you are asking for. There is no harm in continuing to ask when you are asking with confidence, kindness, and asking the right person who can help you. Is there an area in your life where you have a need that you need met and can continue asking for?
During this episode, Shawn & Rashawn discuss how we can truly ask for what we need and have the confidence to live it out. One of the first steps is simply, ask someone for help! Remember to seek out the correct people who can actually help you with the situation you are in. Sometimes, even unintentionally, we look to people who can't, won’t or don’t have the power to help us with our immediate need. We end up making decisions that can be unhealthy or end up hurting us more in the long run. We also must be specific in asking for what we want and ask with confidence. Listen now to fully dive into this topic!
Dive in with Shawn & Rashawn and discover what it means to look at your past and declare that your future will be different. Your present situations do NOT hold the same names as your past did. You do not need to live in shame, guilt, regret, or trauma.. What name are you living out of? Are you attaching to the names of your past or are you looking to God to provide you with new names of love, encouragement, and strength for your future?
Guest speaker, Ryan Casey Waller is back with Shawn & Rashawn on this episode to further discuss what it looks like to live a life well lived, fearless and free. If you really examine your life whose laws are you actually living under when it comes to knowing what and who you are getting your identity from. When we search God’s word and seek out the truth about our identity new messages form in our brain and will inevitably decrease our anxieties regardless of the situation. How are you viewing yourself today? Are you viewing yourself through the lens of shame or freedom?
