We start season one with an amazing interview. I was pleased to have my daughter Carissa as my first guest. In episode one, "University Talk", Carissa walks us through her journey from high school to university. This interview is great for young adults to learn about first-year university life, working while going to school, and changing career paths.
This was a spontaneous episode. I reached out to my long-time friend Zee to spin a hip-hop session on the Podcast. The session turned into a great conversation about music, family, and giving back. The last cut is Zee djing for 5 minutes and 25 seconds. You will enjoy this one.
The ability to set his own path is what first drew Jason to real estate. As a former Social Worker, Jason planned to pursue a career in education. However, an interest in real estate became an inner calling that he could no longer ignore. Purchasing his first home at 25 years old was the tipping point in becoming the architect of his future in real estate. Jason’s personal journey and openness to new possibilities is something he often shares with each of his clients. He is an expert in his field specializing in working with buyers and sellers from all walks of life. Jason’s goal is to make financial literacy and wealth-building strategies very simple and easy to understand. Knowledge is power and for him, counselling his clients through the process of purchasing their very first home is a crucial first step. Jason’s approach is a hybrid of therapy, counselling, and sales – viewing each person or family through a lens of compassion and purpose. Thinking with this larger goal in mind, Jason helps clients choose homes that will enrich their family and build generational wealth. With dreams to pay it forward, Jason’s vision is clear. He strives to be a voice and advocate within the industry to reach individuals and families who count themselves out of the opportunity of homeownership. He will do so by providing avenues for individuals and families to re-imagine the possibility of having a place to call home.
