For over a decade, the founders of Chark Sauce & Spice Co. worked together at a large Environmental Services Company in Canada. During that time, they became friends and eventually realized that it was time for a career change. In the spring of 2021, Chanier, Aaron and Kelley left their jobs to start their own Environmental Consulting Company.   As exciting as this new venture was, it took one of the partners getting married a few months later to let them know what their true calling was.

Nichole Holmes is a successful real estate agent and one of the Netflix series Marriage or Mortgage stars. When I initially asked Nichole to be on my podcast, I thought the main focus would be on the Netflix series. It turns out that this was one of my favorite interviews, as I learned about her participation in many pageants including Miss USA in 1995, and of the story surrounding the miracle birth of her daughter. 

Big Brother Canada 10 winner Kevin Jacobs was one of the best players to play this game. It was great to hear his insight and perspective on his gameplay and how he was able to solidify his position in the final two.

Liam was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis at 3 weeks old. Both Liam and his wonderful mother Deana have been raising awareness for CF to support others fighting this condition. Liam is now a SickKids Ambassador, inspiring both kids and adults. Liam has a heart of gold and he's Deana's whole world. In her own words, she says, "He's the reason I am who I am today."

Alex is one of my long-time friends from my school days in Toronto. Now a Transit operator for the TTC, Alex shares stories and experiences that are interesting, insightful, and sometimes unbelievable. He is a big sports fan and lives by his motto, Family above all! Alex shares his experience of being a Co-Owner of Demetres on the Danforth and Woo Buffet and Restaurant located in downtown Toronto before landing a job at the TTC.

Stacey is a Fur mama who is passionate about all animal welfare. She has dogs and cats, works full time, and runs the rescue, KLAWS (Kawartha Lakes Animal Wellness Society) as a volunteer in her spare time. KLAWS was formed to assist with bettering the lives of cats in our area.

Andre is an ambitious career-driven creative professional who isn't afraid to take chances on himself and believes you need to work hard for everything you want. He's been a TV host, Producer, Director, College Professor, and back again. He successfully managed to pitch and host a television show right out of college (at age 23) and carve a very successful professional career in television and advertising.

Tera is an amazing wife, and mother who decided to take life into her own hands and make moves outside her comfort zone; first by going on Big Brother Canada, and most recently starting her podcast, "Better in the Second Half". Tera is intelligent, and fierce and has the gift to motivate and empower others.
