We’re back baby! It’s a brand new year and it promises to be a great one as we do a full circle moment by starting the year off with S5 of The Ranaka’s. Starting off with a Ranaka games night, we look at some of the questions that were raised and talk about how the fight between Manaka and Dineo could’ve been avoided.

It’s Temptation Island SA's final episode and our final episode as we end the a strong first season of our podcast and the show. We pick up where we left off with Precious and Grant (finding out crucial information about their relationship) and end it off with S’fiso and Musa with S’fiso showing his true colours and Musa refusing to see it. We also admire what a great catch Tats is and how painful it is that nice guys finish last. 

As we take this brief (but undetermined hiatus) we want to thank each and every one of our listeners for supporting us through what started out as a passion project turned into a consistent feature throughout late 2020/21. It’s part two of the Temptation Island finale where we find out if Precious and Grant stay together or go their separate ways. We marvel at Precious’ growth in the season but simultaneously throw shade at her make up game. We roll our eyes at Musa’s decision to stay with S’fiso and give praise to Nthabi for not letting MJ get to her. See you in two weeks for the reunion!

It’s part one of a two part finale that will have you glued to your screens. We finally find out if our couples are sticking together or have succumbed to the singles presented to them on the Island. Filler flashbacks aside, we watch Justin and Estelle reunite and witness Precious putting Grant through the ringer with what exactly he meant by “respect yourself”.

It’s the penultimate episode and we are not holding back on how we feel this episode. We say goodbye to the last few singles as the couples have their last date that is an overnight stay - talk about the ultimate temptation! Retha and Sizins also have differing opinions on how they view Estelle and we give our final predictions for what will happen to each couple when they reunite.

The Temptation Island finale is getting closer and it looks like the couples are starting to realise that there might not be greener pastures on the other side as they receive videos from their significant others, everyone except for MJ who has a very dramatic reaction to that.

We were confused by the messages some of them sent, especially after watching Precious lock lips with Dain again. Retha also drags Precious and that atrocious wig and Nicole starts to feel some type of way now that she isn’t getting attention from Grant.

As we reach the second half of Temptation Island we find ourselves dealing with fragile egos and clingy singles (Eve we’re looking at you) and say goodbye to two more singles this episode. We also watch Grants reaction at Precious and Dain's romance and shake our heads as we find out how controlling Sfiso can be with Musa.

Well faves, it finally happened - after six episodes of watching Precious and Dain flirt and switch between moments of “will they, won’t they” they have finally kissed! I told myself that this episode won’t the episode where I thirst over him but clearly I chose the wrong one. We even end up gawking at his modelling profile. We also cringe at Grant not listening to Coco telling him to give her space and have another round of predictions regarding each couple and whether they will stay with each other or leave.
