Eliot is a former UFC fighter, but that's not the only fight he's fighting. In his personal journey he has discovered that, although fighting did a lot for him growing up, his reasoning wasn't in line with who he is. In fact, he had to discover "who is Eliot". He suffered from severe onsets of anxiety that cost him up to 5 nights without sleep. This only encouraged him to "go deeper", and in doing so, he has gained a true understanding of who he is and nothing can change that.
