On entering Eternity City, the group found themselves in need of a bursar. It took them almost the full 3 days to get all the information they were looking for, which resulted in them butting up against their timeline. They boldly decided to walk up to the headquarters of a megacorporation and ask to speak to the manager, one executive Thomas Haughter, using Anthony’s picture and the Believer in Fate pin he took from Oculus’s office as proof that they have business with him. Unfortunately, Anthony's message did not get to him in time and the group was forced to get an entry level position at Cerebricorp. Their first assignment is to help a bursar named Doloro Sazi prepare his second best fighter for the Tri City Tournament, as his best fighter fell victim to an attack while in All City on personal business.

As the Great Encephalon attacked the group, they all had something else in mind. Anthony especially saw an opportunity to ask a couple questions, only to get some sad answers and more questions. And instead of fighting, Ro decided to try and fix the Great Encephalon while Dollfour protected his VIP. All of them then headed towards Maintenance Shaft 7, where the Great Encephalon cleared out the stragglers there. The group then pulled all the IVs from the patients there and left the Great Encephalon to find a way to either block or cave in the tunnel that leads elsewhere. They decided to avoid potential issues in Eternity City stemming from not having identification and went to the main exit of the train tunnel. They met what is known as a Secretary, got some temporary ID, and got your first glimpse of Eternity City.

Anthony, Dollfour, and Ro caught their breath in the tunnels on the way back to Maintenance Shaft 5. After briefly talking to Thelonius and the Great Encephalon, they found some medical equipment and ran a few tests on the blood samples you found. One was human, another was genetically modified human, and a third was defectively replicated human. They spoke with a man named Baldwin who let them know a little about Eternity City, and how they will need ID and representation to live there or risk either prison or deportation. The group then rested for a bit before continuing on to Eternity City but as they started to leave, the sound of doors breaking alerted them to the Great Encephalon’s construct heading towards the exit.

The three headed to Maintenance Shaft 7.  Inside they discovered a few dozen comatose people being watched over by a caretaker robot. With the exception of being comatose they were all in excellent health. They were all also being slowly bled, with bags categorizing the grade of their blood. Anthony, Ro, and Dollfour negotiated and fought their way out of the tunnel, giving the caretaker the sweet relief that he asked for and are now heading towards Maintenance Shaft 5.

Heading into the In Between, the three encountered some train robbers. A couple grappled themselves onto a train and a couple others who they met were left behind. The group negotiated their way into being led to their home in Maintenance Shaft 5. There the group met a colony of people that live in the In Between. Full families with kids fighting little holobots. They also met Thelonius, who is a kind of deputy for the Great Encephalon - the Artificial Intelligence that the colony has put in charge because as AI only uses the opinions and information of others which makes it a much more democratic leader than a human. The Great Encephalon also displays itself as a symbol that looks quite similar to the one that Dollfour and Anthony have recognized in the past, which was described as a symbol of a believer in fate. They appealed for help with a rogue robot problem in the area, a problem which found its way into the shaft during an attempt at rest.
