Let’s hope that the preparations have been enough, because a lot hangs in the balance here. Dollfour’s admin codes were retrieved, but family is on the line. Aces was able to have a decoy placed in the museum vault, and got Anthony on the security team. Dollfour was able to gain access as a servant. And the boys will have to trust that Ro will be following along in the Dark Web, deactivating tech for them as they go. With some luck, the three will be on their merry way before this new tech is even revealed.

The Dark Web should prove to be a useful tool. Machines can be caused to glitch, and apparently that includes doll chips. However, that gave mixed results for Dollfour. There are some backup plans and contingencies being made between Anthony and Aces. Ro has just as many questions as before, if not more, about something her father made and found some plans for behind her wall. And now some final preparations are being made for the heist.

A message was sent by those in the pit of Desperation, but it seems unlikely to be the one that Oculus wants. Tyven, called Aces by Number 6, was willing to let him and the others leave as long as they conceded the match, which they did. Then, in Club Vagrant, Tyven and Number 6 exchanged information; some about Number 6’s past, some more about Oculus’s present, and some about potential futures. With a main concern being that Oculus likely has some sort of dead man switch, causing the Canaries under his control to take actions upon his death. And in two days, Tyven is going to take action to remove Oculus, whether that problem is fixed or not.

During the few hours before the fight Dollfour made some upgrades to himself and recognized there is something odd about that rusty knife he pulled from the trash. Ro and Number 6 finished the tinkering portion of making a listening device with two receivers, but have reached out for help on the programming portion. Then, looking for the fight that Oculus said would happen, all three headed down to Desperation, and while they were finishing off some scrappers, Tyven himself entered the stadium. After Number 6 severed flesh and ties with Oculus, he discovered that Tyven is also known as Aces, someone from a forgotten past.
