As Chapter six opens, God assures Moses that he is taking action against Pharaoh and that in the end Pharaoh will drive the Israelites out of Egypt. God has heard the Israelites groaning, has remembered the covenant made with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob and is set to redeem Israel with great judgments.
We look at several action words which God uses in his message with Moses. God says He appeared, established, heard, will bring, will deliver, will redeem, will take, and will give. Moses takes this message to the Israelite leaders but they would not listen.
