  • Episode 540: My Dreams Aren't Coming Back To Me
This is a song about no longer dreaming. I imagined it as being performed by a bunch of low-voiced man cowboy dudes. So, I recorded 2 versions of the lead vocals, and I made the 2nd version an octave lower, so that it would sound almost sorta like low-pitched-voice-men singing.

  • Episode 539: I'm Gonna See Him Really Soon
This is the song that's supposed to go before the one I posted last night. I realized the effed up relationship album needed a song between the one where the girl and dude want to get together and the one where had their first encounter. Y'know, like, it needed a nice little transition. All that.

  • Episode 538: It'll Come Back
This is the next song in the Fucked Up Relationship, Part 2; the girl and the guy get together, but the girl discovers she is no longer attracted to him. Oh, no! Maybe her attraction for him will come back. Maybe it will. Maybe, just maybe.

  • Episode 535: A Lonely She's-Not-Pretty-Anymore
This song sucks; maybe it'll grow on me. But probably not cuz I think it sucks. The concept is kinda cool, but the execution is dumb. True to my German heritage, I am a fan of taking many words and putting them together to make a new word. In this song, I have created a new word: It's she's-not-pretty-anymore; it is a noun. It is a woman who is not pretty anymore but instead of saying, "this is a woman who is not pretty anymore," you  can just say "she's a she's-not-pretty-anymore."

  • Episode 534: New Memories
This is the next song in the effed  up relationship, part 2. The main character girl and the ex-boyfriend dude speak on the phone. She's a-tryin' to get him to agree to get back together.

  • Episode 532: Ask the Land/Ask the Trees
This song is about an evil housing development that is getting planned in the town I grew up in. Instead of building on flat, ugly, depressing land that could be improved with the addition of some nice houses, they're planning on chopping down 3000-4000 oak trees, paving over rare natural habitat and killing a bunch of members of endangered species. So, I'm protesting against it. I see a vision of the future: hundreds and hundreds of coyotes and other wild animal will be running into the nearby neighborhoods, fleeing the destruction of their habitat. And said coyotes might just eat a bunch of people's kids and pets. That's what I'm imagining, anyway. I wish the powers-that-be would ask the land what the land wants. Sure, people need houses, but there's a wise way to do it, a way that doesn't involve paving over land that is sacred to me. (And probably sacred to the Indigenous people from these parts,, the Chumash People). Anyway, this is my song o' protest. Yes, indeed.
