  • Episode 528: I Aspire To Be What I Already Was
I was kickin' around an idea for another song,  but then this one came to me outta the blue, so I went for it. It's about that lost mojo of youth that all us old farts try to get back. We try to get it back and we fail. Poops.

  • Episode 526: 20 Years Have Passed
This is a song about a happy day I remember...it was actually 25 years ago, but "20 Years" sounds cooler. It was this sunny day and me and my Dartmouth friends were out in the sunshine, drinking beer and smoking pot. It was just lovely. This song is meant to be sorta poignant, as in, here I am, this old fossil, looking back at when I was young and having fun and the future, ever so bright, was ahead o' me. Yes,, indeed.

  • Episode 524: 7 Sundays - Country Depresso Version
Here's the second version of "7 Sundays" that I did today. I wanted to mess around with singing it in a different key, and I changed up the chorus and stuff, too, just for kicks. I think I like this chorus a little bit better, but the downside is it doesn't lead into the bridge as well, so the bridge sounds all dumb and pasted in there, instead of flowing from the chorus. Poopity poop. This version is real sloppy, too, cuz I was just futzing around.

  • Episode 523: 7 Sundays - Upbeat Version
I made 2 attempts at recording this song today; this is the upbeat one. It's a song about going to a land where every day is Sunday. It's like, in such a land, you don't get the Sunday Scaries (or Sunday Depresso, a I call it), cuz there's no Monday the next day. It's just Sundays, ad infinitum.

  • Episode 522: Yeah, This Fuckedness Sucks
This is the next song in the Fucked Up Relationship Album, Part 2. It's about the girl, who broke up with her boyfriend, feeling fucked cuz of the break-up-induced-depression and wondering if she should call her ex and stuff. The song came to me last night, starting out as a bunch of nonsense syllables with a bunch of fucks in there. In the light of day of today, I decided to take the nonsense syllables and make 'em into regular words, so what you end up hearing in the song is:Yaddis fuckdiss fuckt, fuckdiss fuckt, fuckdiss saddest her Yeah, this fuckedness sucks, it fucks with, fucks, fucks with saddest her
