Rebecca Pittenger's Podcast of Weird Songs

I decided to flesh out that song from a few weeks ago that I did that little demo for. This is the longer version. It's a play on words of a sort. I'm spiritual because I drink spirits.

Here's a lame birthday song that has some better moments in it. It's a milestone birthday, and it's an odd year. I was born on the 23rd and it's 2023. There're two 23s in the date! Oh my gosh. 

Here's a dream-like song, or at least it sounds dream-like to me. It's not actually from a dream, though. I was writing, I guess you could call it, stream-of-consciousness discourse in my journal today and made it into a song.

This is the next song in the effed up relationship album. It's one of the chopped up songs - it's about that trip to Germany the last two songs are about. We were in an airport in Munich (I think it was Munich), and I was all tired from not being able to sleep on the plain. My eyes were all baggy. Mean-Boyfriend-Man made fun of me and said stuff that implied that I looked ugly when I'm tired. He got all mean and angry when I wanted him to take it back. Shoot, man, I hope this album isn't sounding whiny. The story starts movin' along at a hearty clip pretty soon. Or, well, at least, I think it does.

I woke up from a dream this morning, where I lost my camera. See, there was this circular rainbow in the sky and I wanted to take a picture. So, I searched through my purse for my digital camera (even though that camera broke, years ago). But I couldn't find it. This dream had a soundtrack to it - as in, I started to hear this song playing, and then I woke up. Woohoo.

This recent move I made is still kicking my ass. I'll add a picture tomorrow. It got late and I'm pooped.

I just listened to a show with a blues banjo player/singer. It inspired me to do this song. Woohoo! It's about being spiritual in the drinking-spirits sense!

This is the next song in the fucked up relationship album. It's a chopped up version of the previous song where the narrator is getting all excited about traveling with her new boyfriend. This is the song where you find out how the trip went. There'll be, probably, 2 more songs that further discuss how that trip went. Yessiree.

This is the next song in the effed up relationship album. I'll add artwork in a bit...there're some other things I need to finish up and then I'll do that. It's about how the narrator and her boyfriend are about to go on a trip to Europe together. She's looking forward to it. She is!

This is a dumb, 23-second song. I I was trying to find a word or set of words that rhymed with "activity." I came up with "sat with kitties."
