This is a song, in which I have a dream about one of my grandmothers, in which she warns me that I'm possessed by a fire-god. The fire god is possessin' me because my spirit has fire in it, and the god is drawn to that fire.
This is a song about my complex relationship to money. It's sung and rapped from the point of view of my conscious psyche and my shadow (which is the disowned part of the psyche). I'm leaving the listener to guess whether the rap part is the shadow or the conscious part of me, and likewise, whether the singing part is the shadow or the conscious part of me.
This is a song where I rap from the point of view of my shadow, which is a Jungian archetype that represents the parts of the psyche that got rejected by a person's consciousness.
Jesus is hanging onto the parts of my soul that went missing when I was horribly traumatized. We're waitin' till it's safe again to call those parts back. In the meantime, it's a lonely place to live in my body because those missing soul parts woulda kept me company.
