Hello Star Trek fans! Welcome to Rebinge Deep Space Nine S7E1: Image in the Sand! Season 7 is here and we lead off with a bang! We've got visions, a dude in a hood stabbing Sisko, and a very suspicious Romulan. (Never trust a Romulan when they're being nice.) We've got a load of our old favorite guest stars in Brock Peters as Grandpa Joe and JG Hertzler as Martok. We also have some new faces in Megan Cole as a Romulan with a forgettable name and we've got a new Dax. Yep, this episode marks the first appearance of Nicole de Boer as Ezri Dax. Sorry Jadzia, but Trek moves on.

Sisko is moping around Grandpa Joe's restaurant waiting for the prophets to do something and they finally do! He has a vision of seeing a woman's face in the sand and he immediately starts trying to figure out who she is. Back on the station Colonel (!) Kira is dealing with a suspiciously friendly Romulan on DS9.

Hello Star Trek fans! Welcome to Rebinge Deep Space Nine S6E26: Tears of the Prophets. We've arrived at the end of season 6 and this episode is going to tear your heart out. We bring together a lot of our usual recurring characters, including Weyoun, Damar and the increasingly horrible Dukat. We also get a big space battle (which includes Garak on the bridge) and, as the title implies, a cryptic vision for Sisko. It's tears for everyone, not just the prophets!

Good news: Sisko is put in charge of an offensive attack on Cardassia. Bad news: the prophets seem to be telling him not to do it. What's a captain/emissary to do? Well we go on the attack which is a pretty cool space battle of Federation ships against some Cardassian weapons. The attack goes well, but everything else goes very badly when Dukat is possessed by Kosst Amojan and he heads to the station.

The Defiant picks up a distress call from Captain Lisa Cusak - at first she can't hear them but they can hear her. They break off their current mission in an effort to find and rescue her. Once they establish 2-way communication, Lisa has long chats with most of the crew in an attempt to keep her company while she waits and we learn about the burdens each crew member is carrying.

Molly gets into some deep trouble and Miles and Keiko need to figure out what to do. Rosalind Chao guest stars as Keiko and Michelle Krusiec plays an older Molly.

Keiko and Miles can't catch a break. The family is finally back together, but nothing good ever happens to the O'Briens (except for Chester the cat). During a family picnic Molly falls through a time portal and emerges 10 years older. Yikes!

Hello Star Trek fans! Welcome to Rebinge Deep Space Nine S6E22: Valiant. In this episode we meet some Red Squad recruits who have gotten in a bit over their heads. Paul Popowich guest stars as "Captain" Watters in a pretty grim and tragic story. But on the bright side we do get a little Jake and a little Nog to keep us on the straight and narrow. Stay tuned to the end of this podcast episode to hear why next week's episode will NOT be S6E23.

Jake and Nog are rescued by a Defiant-class ship called the Valiant. This seems like a good thing until we very quickly learn the crew on this ship has gone a bit off the rails. These Red Squad recruits are deep into a dangerous mission without the original senior crew.

Meanwhile, our favorite guest star Louise Fletcher makes us happy by making everyone else so very unhappy. She is a true pleasure to watch.

Sisko is summoned to Bajor to examine an ancient relic that mentions the Emissary. When he decides to bring the 30,000 year old rock back to the station, Kai Winn is not amused. And we ultimately find the relic's purpose is to bring about The Reckoning where a pah-wraith and a prophet duke it out on the station! The only trouble is they need some bodies to inhabit.

We meet 60s Vegas lounge singer Vic Fontaine in this episode. Vic is a uniquely-abled hologram with the ability to hop between programs and utilize the comm systems to call other people on the station. Alarmed!? You should be! HE'S A HOLOGRAM. Anyway, Odo tries to learn how to chill out from Vic and also how to fake-play the piano? It's all very strange but somehow ends up with Odo and Kira on a date.
