They say you can have it all, well, file that under It gets easier and other lies we tell new mothers, which is the title of Claudine's book releasing in audio today.
This podcast is for you if:
- Have a dream to complete but are hitting roadblocks or cannot see a way to make it through.
Claudine wasn't getting a publisher for her initial book, so she made her own, singular, publishing company (This inspires me every time I hear it.) She then advocates, a decade later and Harper Collins publishes her audiobook. Authors, creatives, and those creating the new, these are the stories we need to hear.
- You are a mother, grandmother, or a caretaker of a small human and think you are the only one realizing how hard it is.
You aren't alone. Claudine gets honest about the choices of mothering and the realization, as she was welcoming her first grandchild into the world, that no matter what changes in the world the love and sacrifice of family remains the same.
This book is a GREAT holiday gift for a new mom, a baby shower gift or a postpartum reminder that this is the way it is. I think of this audio book as a friend to ride with you to Target, catch a laugh and breather before helping change the world by raising a happy little one.

This episode takes a turn of relatability to every human: "The best work we do comes out of our pain." We are with Cindy Landham, of www.thelineratedeater.com who shares with us how she freed herself from the prison of food addiction. Cindy touches on: - The Inner Critic (as it relates to food) - The Surrender and Relief that came, from an apparent defeat which was actually The Rise. - The promises Cindy made to herself: 1. She would walk everyday 2. She would eat whatever she whatever she wanted (listen around minute ten and eleven to understand what that really meant in her life) Cindy began researching to understand the freedom she had found, and eventually The Liberated Eater was born. This episode is about food, and yet, it is really about the power of being human. "If we get out of the pit, then we want to help others out of it.” - Cindy Touchstone on her communtiy: "We will weep with regret, but where we always get to is :We are taking back lost time." [Minute 18] You can find Cindy at https://www.theliberatedeater.com You can get her book here https://www.theliberatedeater.com/book/the-liberated-eater-paperback-signed-by-author-cindy-landham You can look into her community here https://www.theliberatedeaterschool.com/liberated-eater-workshop One of my favorite quotes of this episode from Cindy: "I'm not alone, everyone's crazy." "If we get out of the pit, I wanna help you get outta the pit." - Cindy Stay connected: Kate www.katebrenton.com Read Rebirth https://www.amazon.com/Rebirth-Real-Life-Stories-About-Happens-ebook/dp/B0B3V3JQT7 Take The Everyday Meditation Method https://www.katebrenton.com/shop/everydaymeditationmethod

This episode started on a wink. Kate was researching an article and found Crista Cloutier's site on The Working Artist. True to the theme here on Rebirth, Kate reached out on a hunch and a fabulous connection ensued between the two. In this episode, Crista talks about why she walked away from being a career as very successful art dealer. What she learned about the assessment of art, from personal perspective and also how she extends that to her students When serendipity met her on the plane, and how it was both a confirmation and a bearer of gifts (socks are gifts!) What it means to self-actualize through art And my favorite, Crista reframes mid-life crisis to mid-life correction This episode was recorded shortly before Crista moved back to the South of France where she is leading retreats for the artist and the curious alike.

Creativity, Alignment, and Community are the three focuses of this upcoming season's episodes.
Does creativity have to be qualified? Is it only valuable if it creates a product? When the call towards creativity is one of process over product (tune into Joshua Townsend's upcoming episode for more on this) there is growth. In a time, where the options are endless, our intention, and direction matter more than ever. What are we creating? And what are we doing with what we are calling in to our lives?
