Rebootleggers

This week we reboot Sailor Moon by asking the obvious: what if the Sailor Scouts were actual sailors?

In other big news, Rebootleggers is now part of the Hello Sweetie Podcast Network! They're a great little network with a bunch of other fun shows, so go check them out!

This week we're rebooting Rise of the Guardians since we kept getting it confused with Legend of the Guardians! It's 10 years later, and Jack Frost and the gang are tangled up in yet another sinister plot involving teeth, but this time with even more teeth.

Big news! Rebecca Frost has officially joined us as our occasional co-host! She'll basically be on any time we don't have other guests, so get used to the sound of her voice, and her hilarious jokes!

Rebecca Frost joins us AGAIN, this time to reboot Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole, a movie about owls who wear helmets and fight with swords, directed by Zack Snyder. Our version is better, because there's no way it couldn't be.

Go see Rebecca on Twitter! She's real funny. https://twitter.com/josswheelin

This week Rebecca Frost joins us in rebooting her grandfather's favorite movie, Harold and Maude, a 1971 film that's basically the original Garden State if you just replace Natalie Portman with 79 year-old Ruth Gordon.

Brock Wilbur returns to help us reboot the movie Postal, a very problematic movie based on a very problematic game! We decided on this reboot to tie into the book Brock wrote about Postal for Boss Fight Books. Come join us as we try to navigate how to reboot this movie in a way that addresses the issues of toxic masculinity and gun violence, and attempts to fix them rather than glorify them. It's a bit heavier than most, but it's a really good one guys.

You can find Brock on twitter or at http://brockwilbur.com/.

You can pre-order Brock's book about Postal here: https://bossfightbooks.com/products/postal-by-brock-wilbur-nathan-rabin!

This week we reboot Teen Witch! Mostly we just take this one weird rap battle scene and craft an entirely new movie around it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oxxBXpnn2Jw

Also triangles feature prominently.

We reboot Bio-Dome, the 1996 stoner comedy! It turns out the original movie didn't have much worth keeping, so we got rid of everything except the dome. Now it's called Biomes-Dome.

Okay we also kept the weed stuff.
