Today, on the second Sunday of Advent, we enter into the week of Peace. Fr. Rix and Fr. Joe explore the meaning of peace through a heartbreaking 24-hour period where Joe, as a Police Detective, had to endure three different encounters, all heartbreaking, but ones that can call to mind the sacrifice of First Responders and the trauma those encounters can cause.
These stories can be difficult things to hear, but the message that a new day can come from the things we witness and experience is a story as old as time. We hope this episode can give merit to that idea and that a new day comes with the season and with our lives.
