All indicators are pointing to a massive recession with record numbers of layoffs already happening.  The simple truth is, no one really knows.

The simpler truth is...those of us who know our value and own our worth aren't too concerned about projections, pundits and scary news headlines.  

We know that these are the times when legends are made.   These downturns in fact are when those of us at the top of our game can make the greatest impact. 

“Save six months salary for when we experience a downturn” is not a proactive strategy. Pressure makes diamonds and if it was easy everyone would be doing it.

Stay close to your customer, stay close to your ideal client and do what it is that only you can do. 

Just because the company or the economy is not doing well – this does not impact your value.
