Her master’s degree and early therapy years focused on issues related to speech communication disorders and Assistive Technology. Working in school districts in three states, she has overseen speech and related services departments such as occupational therapy, physical therapy, vision instruction, and music therapies with her last position in a school district responsible for providing special education services for over 3,330 students in a district of 45,000.

Passionate about students with special needs and inclusive practices, Brandi is now Vice President of Client Services at Stetson & Associates, a national educational consulting firm, which specializes in systems change, effective staffing, instructional improvement, and collaborative teaching practices.

As a result of Dr. Phillips’ journey from teacher to Principal while being connected, he believes that being a connected educator can help take one’s career to unprecedented heights. Dr. Phillips is the Delaware National Outstanding Assistant Principal of the Year for 2021. He started his podcast journey as one of the three co-hosts of the podcast, Speaking Educationally. He has a B.S. in Finance and Banking from Delaware State University, a M.S. in Educational Leadership from Purdue University, and his Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Educational Leadership and Management at Capella University. Dr. Phillips is a proud husband and father of 3 (2 daughters and 1 son), and he is very active in his church.
