  • Ep 48. Is rocking the boat making you sick?

    Have you ever:

    • pulled back from saying what you think because you didn’t want to rock the boat?
    • turned yourself into a pretzel to make sure everyone around you was happy?
    • felt exhausted after spending time with someone because you’re constantly giving and not sure how to relax and receive?

People-pleasing can show up in a lot obvious and also subtle ways.

What has been clear over the 15+ years I’ve worked with clients is that the effects absolutely show up in their bodies.

The impacts of suppressing your needs is real.

  • Ep. 47 What's your body trying to tell you?

If you tend to live from the head up and forget you have a body that's asking for your attention, this episode is for you.

If you're moving quickly through life and something in your body feels like it's 'breaking down,' you might see it as a nuisance or something to fix. You may be going to the doctor, specialists, or physical therapy, but it's not improving as much as you think it should be given all you're doing. What if there is more to it than you realize?

I invited a friend onto the podcast to share her questions about the mind-body connection and we chatted about:

    • signs your body is asking for attention and how you can begin to listen
    • what may be happening if you're holding onto stress and pushing away your feelings
    • what people usually misunderstand about the body's role in healing

What if your symptoms are your body's way of asking you to pay attention to something you've been pushing down or avoiding?

Tune in to listen and book a free consultation at the link below to discuss working together if you're experiencing this and a trauma-informed somatic approach may be the next step of your healing journey.

This is for my high-achievers, recovering perfectionists, and those who of you like to be in charge of all the things.

While your attention to detail and being tuned into what everyone else needs has helped you find success, have you wondered at what cost?

What if you're actually doing too much and it's affecting your mental health and relationships?

    In this episode, we'll unpack:

    • How to identify if you're contributing to one-sided relationships
    • What overdoing may be protecting you from
    • Why your nervous system may be keeping you stuck in overgiving
    • How self-compassion plays a key role in shifting this pattern so you can learn to receive as much as you give

  • Ep. 43: My favorite rituals to lean into for transformation as we head into the new year

I’ve been reflecting on this time of year and how far away we’ve gotten as a modern society from truly tuning into the rhythms of nature and harnessing the power they have to offer us.

In today’s episode, I’m diving into:

    • my personal grounding practices and their compound effect
    • reflections on what moved the needle for me towards my 2025 intentions
    • why this time of year can be so impactful for metabolizing the old so you have the opportunity to start anew

And, as usual, I offer my take as a highly sensitive person, and why these practices are imo, non-negotiable to living a meaningful life.

AND….. because I truly believe that alchemizing all the old emotions, experiences, memories, resentments that are keeping you stuck is the fastest path to moving towards your heart-filled intentions, I have a special offer to help you do exactly this!

The Sacred Reset Immersion is a two hour deep dive session, available in January only with limited spots. Book by Jan 4th, using the code SACRED, to receive $50 off your session. I would be so honored to support you you in shedding the layers of this past year so you can move into 2026 with renewed energy and focus.

  • Ep. 42 One shift to feel seen, heard, and understood in relationships as a highly sensitive person

Like most humans, you want to feel seen, heard, and understood. As someone who’s highly sensitive, you are VERY attuned to how present other people are when they are with you.

I’ve found over the years of working with highly sensitive humans that they crave this deeper level of attention (I do too!)

And if this is you, because you're so empathetic and tuned in, others feel seen, heard, and understood in their presence, but you may rarely experience this.

In today’s episode, I’m sharing a pattern I’ve noticed when this particular dynamic is playing out and how you may be contributing to it 🫣

    We’ll dive into:

    • what you might be doing (or not doing) that’s keeping you stuck in one-sided relationships
    • a few journal prompts to offer you insight into this pattern and how it’s playing out for you
    • one simple (not always easy) way you can start shifting this pattern to feel more seen, heard, and understood in your relationships

  • Ep. 41 Is 'NO' really a complete sentence?

Have you ever followed generic advice about boundaries that just didn’t feel good?

While there’s no shortage of chatter about boundaries out there, I find myself having to pick and choose what works for me as someone who’s highly sensitive.

Some of it feels harsh or it doesn’t take into consideration the relationship with the person on the other side. And it definitely lacks nuance, which is why I’m excited to have this conversation about boundaries and what I see as particularly helpful when you’re a highly sensitive person.

    Listen as I dive into:

    • why setting boundaries can feel extra challenging when you're highly sensitive
    • why getting to and working the root of what’s making it feel hard is really where your energy is best spent (vs pushing through and short-circuiting your nervous system)
    • a simple practice you can put into place right away to help you get to what’s underneath the resistance

  • Ep 39: A Somatic practice to Metabolize the Year

The last episode of The Transform Your Relationship Podcast for 2023 is live and is a little different than usual.

Everyone is moving through their own personal challenges. In the last few months, due to the global events and level of violence we are witnessing literally through our phones, it’s felt more polarized than ever and it’s deeply impacting relationships and a sense of safety and stability.

I felt called to share a guided practice with you to support you in metabolizing all we’ve been hearing, seeing, and sensing.

I share this from the perspective of a sensitive, empathic human being as well as a professional who has spent over a decade supporting others to navigate and resolve the impacts of early trauma. Witnessing the cycles of generational trauma playing out in the world has been heartbreaking.

This practice is shared in the spirit of holding space for you to sit with what is coming up for you in the midst of your surroundings. Please use it mindfully. I hope it serves you 🙏🏽
