Wendy embarked on her musical journey at the age of 6, and has been unwavering since then. With over 15 years of experience, Wendy has contributed significantly to the community by teaching K-12 Music, Band, and Choir. Beyond her role as an educator, she showcases her vocal talents as a soloist and as part of her 80’s cover band, Ricochet! Wendy is also at the forefront of Choral Valley, a project aimed at fostering the growth of singers and choirs through workshop offerings,
A lifelong learner, Wendy achieved her Masters of Educational Leadership degree at Vancouver Island University in 2012, earning the prestigious Governor General’s Gold Medal for academic excellence. Her master's inquiry focused on Music Performance Anxiety in choral singers, reflecting her commitment to understanding and addressing challenges within the musical community.
