Work is hard. Life is hard. We rather push the easy button and yet the button is hard to find in real life.
Paul Neuberger epitomizes the hard charging exec who almost killed himself twice by age 34. Amazingly, throughout the struggle he was able to continue to build a successful career. As Paul describes the harried experiences of his personal life, he walks through the stages of his relationship with Christ. Paul and Christ begin with Christ as the boss, move to Christ as the life raft and finally to Christ, Paul’s best friend. Paul reminds us of the importance of not allowing our personal ambition to drive us forward unchecked.
Diane Paddison shares the gut-wrenching roller coaster of a consistently successful career and heartache at home. Diane states, “You can have mountain top experiences and low valley experiences at the very same time.” Doesn’t that describe life! You will be amazed as Diane talks about Christ walking every step with her and giving her the confidence to continue to become the woman of God she was meant to be.
Diane helped blaze the trail many women walk today. Starting her career at Trammell Crow in 1987 and working her way to COO, Diane, along with the rest of the executive team led the company through an enormous expansion. Diane then joined ProLogis as COO to be one of a few women to hold the COO position at two Fortune 500 companies.
Currently Diane leads 4Word, a women’s organization, which has impacted over 750,000 women in the workplace through her digital platform, community groups and mentoring classes.
A series of unbelievable lows and indescribable highs describe Max’s relationship with Christ. Through his struggles, Max encourages us to keep looking to Christ for grace and love.
