If you would go fishing to the wide and deep lake next to mount dub, you can expect to find @vanbonn sitting there – right in the moment to catch huge delays and frequence modulations to create the next dubby excursion, which he is known for.

More than 20 years ago Reimut Van Bonn started his musical journey. He collected his first experience in producing electronic music using tracker programs, played drums in the metal/hardcore band Muad’dib, created ambience and fx in the instrumental rock outfit Long Distance Calling, shaped abstract and layered ambient landscapes with his alter ego Kadrage and played collaborative concerts in experimental music genres, scored and sound designed movies, clips and homepages. Yes, he also held a club residency in his hometown Münster over a couple of years.

He found his music in the top 40 sales charts and on worldwide dj playlists. A couple of labels who released music with his contribution are Superball, @telrae, @traum-schallplatten, @etui-records and @trapez_official next to sampler contributions on M_nus and @fabric. To enable Van Bonn to release his very own vision of sound, he founded Van Bonn Records. Over the years he played hundreds of stages over Europe ranging from huge festivals and clubs to squatted swimming pools. He shared stages with artists and bands such as Opeth, Deftones, Mogwai, Roisin Murphy, Youth of Today, Snapcase, Minilogue and Max Cooper, among countless others.

Now, he enjoys to go fishing to mount dub. And all the experience he gathers along his ride contribute as inspiration for Van Bonn’s next dubby journey to be created.

Danish DJ and producer Kvadrant living in Copenhagen. Founder of the Kontakt label releasing music in the genres ranging between dubtechno to detroit chords which have been the main drivers for his musical taste over the years. He is also collaborating with the renowned Icelandic producer @ohm-599575574 under the name "Ohm & Kvadrant" and has released a handful of vinyl releases so far under this alias with more to come. Kvadrant is also hosting the weekly successful TweakFM radio show (@tweakitbaby)where a lot of local and international artists have visited over the years.

Born in 1985, @matthewoh got passionate about electronic music between 1999 and 2000, when he bought his firsts records. In 2006 he opened a small record resale corner, which he still carries on to this day. Over the years Matthew collaborated with some of the best clubs in central Italy including Red Zone and Serendipity, which he is one of the main resident djs since 2012. Eventually Matthew founded Outlaw in 2015, a pure dub techno label now on its eighth release that counts artists such as @ohm-599575574 & @octalindustries, a remix from the Ecologist, @tm_shuffle, Halbtomm and @kevin-arnemann.

Strip away the flashy elements of “nightlife” to reveal the core of it all: the artist, the music and artistry; all of which Ocean Lam (@ocean-1) has built and cultivated with drive and passion over more than a decade. With a signature sound void of pretension and any need to be trendy, enveloping listeners with her own personality and story as basslines pump and roll between slicing snares adrift delicate vocals. Continuously spiraling and building upwards, playful and bouncing but no less severe or moody, Ocean Lam’s sound is atmospheric, shifting moods and energies whichever way she sees fit.

Glasgow-based @miltonjackson (real name Barry Christie) released his first EP aged 18 on @tronicsole way back in 2001. An album for @glasgowunderground entitled "The Bionic Boy" was released in 2001.

Romanthony was such a big fan of the 3rd single ‘Dimensional’ that he asked to remix it, a huge honour for Milton.

After the success of "Bionic Boy" and the accompanying live tour (taking in venues like @rexclub in Paris), EPs were completed for the likes of Black Vinyl, Bear Trax (Milton’s own label) and Omid 16B’s Alola (@sexonwax). Milton even worked with a young Mylo on their ‘Pretty Boys’ project.

In 2006 a new relationship was formed with @jimpster’s @freerangerecords and saw collaborations with fellow deep house don @shurikan.

2009 was topped off with a win in the DJ Awards in the Deep House category. Milton picked up his award at Pacha in Ibiza alongside the likes of @petetong, @lucianocadenza and Sven Vath.

Moving into the 2010s Milton remixed Recloose for Carl Craig’s (@planetedetroit) Planet E and turned in big remixes for Joey Negro’s (@daveleezr) Z Records, 8 Bit and Jef K’s hit “In My System” on Silver Network. He also released "Breathe" on Neurotraxx records.

A new collaboration with Munich’s SHOW-B called “Pattern Select” saw the pair release a critically acclaimed EP on @delusionsofgrandeur and a remix for @huxley_uk imprint @saints-n-sonnets.

2012 saw no let up for Milton as he continued to DJ worldwide and release for Freerange (new track DSI), @tsuba vinyl imprint and Black Key Records.

2013 saw Milton take a break from house music after the birth of his children and after an 18 month layoff he returned to Kevin Griffiths’ Tsuba label with his ‘Your Love’ EP. Your love received many plaudits with @traxsource claiming: "Milton Jackson returns and it’s worth the wait!"

Milton also recorded a special track for Freerange’s 20th anniversary boxset release called "Songs Without Words".

In 2020, 20 years after his first release Milton is still releasing quality EPs - a new 4 tracker for @rawax-chiwax-housewax imprint Housewax was released, plus he has been recording further material with his old partner in music, Shur-i-kan and @matt-masters plus a new solo EP for Freerange.

Overall throughout his career Milton has around 60 releases to his name, 2 albums and notched up over 100 remixes, not to mention appearing on hundreds of compilations around the world.

Dublin based producer, Laughing Man (@1laughter) has been producing since 2007 under various aliases. His style of music can be described as atmospheric house with minimal beats, breaks and a strong bass line, creating a unique blend of electronic music catering to fans of anything deep. He has released music on labels such as @berg_audio, @fastenmusique, @druzhbarecords and @daydreamrecords to mention a few. He has also released records on his own label @standalonerecordseire as well as his new imprint @hostarecords.

A veteran DJ in Dublin’s club scene, Laughing Man runs his own events in various venues throughout the capital. Over the last few years, he has brought his music abroad, playing in the UK, France and Belgium as well as playing for the first time at DC-10 in Ibiza at one of @gameoveribiza One Night Stand events. 2021 has been a very productive year for Laughing Man with regard to releases and with more exciting projects yet to come.

Considered by many as one of Europe’s finest deep techno selectors, @lolapalmer’s has earned an impressive following through channels like @rtsfm and @mixcult. Originally from Kyiv and now based in Amsterdam, Lola Palmer continues her artistic journey with a debut EP on @berg_audio which features remixes from @janeret & @priku_atipicrecords ft. Dinu.

@dustyard is the musical project of a french DJ and producer based in Nantes, France. Having started music at a very young age, with a classic training in piano and guitar, this producer blends his current inspirations and delivers Deep Tech house to Minimal Dub sounds. He mostly finds new ideas within the various environments he passes through: either in movies and videos, or with both natural and urban sounds. Sensitive to beauty and balance, Dust Yard delivers unique ambient sonorities and groovy rythmics in each production. His tracks have been released on reference labels such as @berg_audio, @bondage-music, @organic-music and more.

In this two hours podcast, the French man wanted to share with you his favorite tracks and main inspirations from deep tech to dub techno.

Born in Iran and a citizen of Denmark since the early ’80s, @nimagorji is now based in Ibiza from where he continues to influence the international electronic music scene with his distinct style and vision. His career spans more than 28 years, having a beautiful beginning in Copenhagen’s club scene around the time when the modern house and techno music were taking shape, capturing people’s attention more and more. In 1995 he began a residency at the Rust Club, now remembered as one of the most known underground clubs in Copenhagen, where he played alongside numerous DJs, slowly building on his name. His relocation to Spain brought him extended collaborations with Ibiza Underground, Monza and Next Wave while in 2010 he was awarded “Best Ibiza DJ”.

In 1999 Nima Gorji founded Welt Recordings alongside partner Thomas @madvig, followed by @ng-trax and Need For Sound alongside @octavee, relentlessly following his passion for electronic music by releasing numerous personal works as well as promoting other artists. His rich discography also includes materials published through labels like @scitec, @deeperfect-records, @fuselondon, @bondage-music, @out-of-orbit-space, Love Letters From Oslo, @indigorawrecordings, @cocoonrecordings, Murmur, Natural Rhythm, @blabla-music, @eterecords, @bprecs and @melodeum_records, while others have been dispatched through Bandcamp.
