He has battled dark nights filled with loneliness and doubt, questioning whether or not he would make it to see his son graduate, ride a bike, or even through the night. Nadia Bruce-Rawlings uses grains of her once gritty life to infuse her stories with cathartic realism. She grew up traveling the world and living in various countries before settling in Los Angeles, where she began a long career in the film industry.
In recovery since 1998 from drugs, alcohol, and an abusive upbringing, she and her husband have settled into the Nashville area, where she writes by the lake when she can escape their six kids and dog.

J. T. Wahlberg wrote this book to help people understand what to expect when they decide to change their relationship with alcohol. He also hopes this book will serve as a warning to readers that if they want to end their addiction, they should do so in consultation with their doctor.
J. T. lives in Port Credit, Ontario, with his fiancé, and he has “forgotten to drink alcohol” for the past six years.

By the grace of God and second chances, Ed Kressy went from being arrested by the FBI, to being recognized with a community service award…by the FBI director! His story proves: with help, it’s possible to overcome devastating drug addiction and mental health challenges. And second chances benefit those of us who give them, as well as those of us who receive them
Ed spent much of his life abusing the many privileges society gave him—he threw away his career, home, and beloved dog, and pushed away everyone who loved him. But amazing people—including many who are/were incarcerated—inspired him to pursue a life of giving to society, including volunteering inside maximum-security prisons and jails.
Ed had every reason to fear and mistrust law enforcement: deep in meth psychosis, he became certain the FBI engineered a conspiracy against him because he inadvertently befriended a 9/11 hijacker. Yet women and men in law enforcement took time to connect with him on a human level, inspiring him to volunteer assisting police better serve communities affected by addiction and incarceration
Along the way, Ed discovered faith in God, overcame suicidal depression and crippling anxiety, and achieved his dream of publishing a book.

My passion is to engage and challenge people in living healthy, more active lifestyles. With increasing obesity rates and a lack of focus and education on preventive medicine, our country is facing a health epidemic. The solution starts with parents modeling a healthy active lifestyle for their children to follow.
