It's another week in the Premier League and we should be covering all the amazing football that has been played. But we are once again subjected to an onslaught of 'interesting' VAR decisions which could have lasting implications for this season title race. Major issues included the VAR officials failing to draw the offside lines against a Brentford player in their Arsenal match and the VAR applying the offside lines incorrectly in the Brighton/Crystal Palace match. If applied correctly, a goal would have stood for Brighton. Brad is upset about a non call in the West Ham/Chelsea match, where a VAR intervention could have given Chelsea a chance to secure all three points. Check out the whole conversation this week.

After a crushing defeat at Goodison Park, Arsenal's title hopes seemed to be fading. Manchester City only needed to go to White Hart Lane and secure all three points in order to pull within two points of the current league leaders. However, an Antonio Conte-less Spurs side ensured that Pep remains winless in the new Spurs stadium. Elsewhere, Wolves picked up a huge three points at home against Liverpool. Two goals in the first fifteen minutes took Liverpool out of the game before it had really even began. Newcastle were held at home against relegation contenders West Ham. A full slate of Premier League matches is what awaits those who are interested this weekend. Proceedings are kicked off and bookended with interesting matches. Chelsea will welcome west London rivals Fulham to Stamford Bridge. Potter and Co will need to quickly integrate all the new faces at Chelsea in order to try and salvage a Champions League birth for next season. With roughly half the games left to play, there is certainly time for Chelsea to achieve that goal. The end of the weekend sees the Champions Manchester City travel to North London to take on a Spurs team that will be without their fiery manager. Antonio Conte will miss the match due to having gallbladder surgery this week; how will his team cope in his absence? Elsewhere, the Sean Dyche era kicks off at Goodison Park with a visit from top of the table Arsenal.

The FA Cup 4th round was is in the books and it did not disappoint. The weekend kicked off seeing the top of the pyramid clash between Manchester City and Arsenal. While City ultimately got the better of the visitors, Arsenal played a very close game and can take some confidence for the upcoming league matches against City. Non-league Wrexham should have been through against second division Sheffield United, but a 94th minute equalizer from United will see the teams play again in a replay. Brighton also got a last minute goal that saw them advance against the current holders Liverpool. Spurs handily dispatched Preston North End and will play the the eventual winner of the Wrexham/Sheffield United winner in the next round.

The winter transfer market is finally closed and once again the English Premier League spend astronomical money compared to their European counterparts. After just a few weeks time, the FA Cup is back in action. This weekend will see sixteen games take place across the England and Wales. This is the first time that these two clubs will face each other this year; fireworks are almost guaranteed to materialize in this massive match.
