In this episode of The Red Light Sports Ramble, presented by The Red Light Sports Ramble, Evan Witalison and Troy Otradovec will take a look back, at the weekend. The biggest news in golf was Jordan Spieth, or the British Open that was being played. Spieth was trying to win the third major of the year, after winning the first two. Spieth was near the top of the leader board, but missed the playoff by one stroke, ending his bid for the season grand slam. At 39, Zach Johnson won his second career major. He was part of a four hole playoff, with Louis Oosthuizen and Marc Leishman.
In MLB, we should be talking about trade rumors. However, on Sunday afternoon, Carlos Gomez slid hard into Jordy Mercer to break up a double play. Mercer was carted off the field, leaving people wondering if this was a dirty play. Do you think that the slide was dirty? Listen in and call the show with your thoughts.
