I would like to assist you today, using the Word of God, in the Development of Your Personal Purpose Statement. I would ask you to write some things down today - even if you are not normally a note taker.

1 Corinthians 13 gives us three major reminders as we resolve to grow in our practice of biblical love this year.

Worship involves understanding who the Lord is and what He has done, then honoring Him with what we have.

Are you where God wants you, doing what He wants you to be doing- There is always room in the kingdom for another servant.

In this first section Paul gives some divine insight for the Christian soldier waging spiritual warfare.

It is God who both prompts us and enables us to give.

Spiritually speaking, we reap what we sow, we reap after we sow, and we reap more than we sow.

After Paul's appeal to the Corinthians to follow through with their promised good intentions, he explains that the monies will be handled with the upmost honesty and transparency.

With the Spirit's guidance, Paul describes for the Corinthians and us what -grace giving- looks like up close.

As Paul reviews the circumstances that brought the Corinthians to repentance, we understand that sorrow can produce joy.
