Red State Reboot

Today, in commemoration of Bubba, Gmax, Great Jeans, and the 11th hour of RSR S2, we’re Rebooting our Season Premiere episode that we put out back in August. This one’s just a plain ol’ Reboot – you can find our most up-to-date takes on the Epstein of it all on our Instagram @redstaterebootpod, since it’s such an unfolding sitch, b*tch.

Rebooties, what can we say? This precious little episode speaks for itself. It’s our 50th, our most unhinged, AND contains what may be our best nickname ever. However, you unfortunately need to wait until 2075 to listen, because this is a time capsule that shan’t be unearthed until then.

LONG LIVE RED STATE REBOOT!

EEEEEP! We’ve been keeping a secret from you, Rebooties!!! We made the most RSR-coded holiday gift EVER: it’s called The Red State Reboot Activity Book, and it’s available NOW on www.FGTM.store !!! :)

Now that we got our gift/grift out of the way…. Today, we’re talking Argentina. We cover Trump’s bailout, Argentine President Milei’s (failed) rockstardom, and explore how patterns of colonization and extractive capitalism repeat themselves over and over again in the region, and how the Don-roe Doctrine is unfortunately a very real thing.

TLDR: Showboys and bailouts and beef, oh my!

It’s Spooky. It’s Scary. It’s Satanic. It’s Chaotic. It’s a Bonus Ep of RSR! The key to happiness? Low expectations. The key to this episode? Brain dumping on moral panics. After all… what’s spookier than a scapegoat?

Be sure to tune back in on Monday for a special announcement!!

Listen, we’re really talking two things today: the fuckass ballroom, and the Venn diagram that is really just a circle between getting your NASTY texts exposed and alleged (you’re welcome, @Legal) white supremacists. Alternatively named “Oops…Wrong Group Chat: Take Three,” this episode covers the leaked Young Republicans group texts, as well as the withdrawal of Paul Ingrassia’s nomination to serve as Special Counsel following his alleged ‘N*zi streak’ texts being released. Like, actually… WTF. Other topics/treats include: our DM to George Santos, Bo-Linda and Abby’s chicken-not-beef with Bojangles, and a conversation about North Carolina’s (continued) gerrymandering.

THE MOST IMPORTANT THING: WE PREDICTED GEORGE SANTOS’ RELEASE!!!!

This episode of Red State Reboot is brought to you by… A Bad Night’s Sleep - “Nature’s Beta Blocker!” JK, it’s brought to you by us after Freaky Friday-ing our bad moods. This week, we’re talking the MAGA-made crisis of a government shutdown and the :) dissolution of a free press in the U.S. :) as evidenced by the new Pentagon media rules. Also, we discuss the Hatch Act and its repeated violations by this Admin - including but not limited to Kristi Noem’s video in the TSA lines, and how this is just the cherry on top. Yuck! But we don’t let Kristi off the hook there - we pull up the REAL receipts of her trying to use the bathroom at an animal shelter (REST IN POWER, CRICKET). Regrettably, we are once again shouting out MTG and… George Santos (?)… Finally, we talk Tylenol and Trump Derangement Syndrome, and present a new theory we have on the latter.

Oh! And early voting started this week … NC Rebooties can look up their local elections here https://www.ncsbe.gov/voting/upcoming-election/local-voter-tool
