St. John’s was down 15 points in the first, down by as many as 18 in the second, and never got back within 5 points. They were completely controlled by the better team for the 3rd time in a row. Now have to go to Seton Hall to face a team just as desperate as they are. 

St. John’s threw the first punch.. unfortunately it was their only punch. Nova made adjustments and we did not. Nova made shots and we did not. Tough one Vs Xavier..need it!

15 first half turnovers kind of tells you all you need to know about how prepared St. John’s looked to play today. We lost a good chance at a OOC defining win, now we absolutely can’t slip up Vs FSU. 

We are 8-0 and finally have a chance to really test our mettle this Sunday against #23 Iowa state on their home court. 

St. John’s is 7-0 and they did it without Posh Alexander. It wasn’t pretty but it sure beats 6-1. 

St. John’s beats that absolutely sorry excuse of a program from central New York, 76-69, in an OT thriller. 

Curbelo with a career high 23 points and Soriano with another absolute monster performance, 19 points and 14 boards.
