Author, journalist, and avid traveler Mercedes de Luis spends her days exploring the world through the eyes of cinematography, as a way to explain the emotions, feelings and connections that relate us to one another. Katariina Vuorinen (Finland) Writer and Master in Philosophy with specialization in Literature (Tampereen yliopisto, University of Tampere). Vuorinen defines herself as part of the global nomadic population. In addition to performing her poetry on various national and international literary stages, she travels continuously and participates in various artistic-literary projects. She is the author of various poetry books and is the founder of Runosaari, an island of poetry.
Post-Icelandic performer and flamboyant protozoan, flag-bearer of the Ginnungastefna movement and laureate poet who lives under your bed Elias Knorr spoke to the Red Transmissions Podcast on translation, poetry, and hunting for ideas through neurological forests of uncertainty.
Considered one of the three most representative authors of modern Icelandic poetry by UK Poetry review. Multilingual author, he's won the Premio Afundación, biggest Galician poetry competition, with his book "Bazar de Traidores". "Sjóarinn með morgunhestana undir kjólnum" has been studied at the Literature Department of Iceland's National University. His poem "Þegar ég datt í dúnalogn" was selected for Jahrbuch der Lyrik 2021. His short anthology "Paid in lilies" was chosen as one of the best poetry-books of 2019 in English by PoetrySchool.com.
His work is based on the possibilities of words and in the search for new voices, completely external to the author. When in live, he sings and performs poetry.
Kristín Svava Tómasdóttir is a poet and historian in Reykjavík, Iceland. She has published four books of poetry, the latest one, Hetjusögur (2020), being awarded the Icelandic Women´s Prize for Fiction. Stormviðvörun (2015) was translated into English by K.B. Thors as Stormwarning and published in a bilingual edition in the United States by Phoneme Media in 2018. For the translation, Thors won the American-Scandinavian Foundation's Leif and Inger Sjöberg Award and was longlisted for the PEN America Literary Award for translated poetry. Kristín Svava was one of the editors of the poetry series Meðgönguljóð (Take-Away Poems), published from 2012 to 2018, and has translated both poetry and fiction into Icelandic, for example Valerie Solanas's feminist manifesto SCUM and Cuban author Virgilio Piñera's poem La isla en peso. Kristín Svava holds an MA degree in history from the University of Iceland and has also written, in books and articles, on cultural history and the history of sexuality, women and gender in Iceland.

Tatiana Lopez a photographer, multidisciplinary artist, and visual anthropologist born in Ecuador and currently residing in New Jersey, United States. Her work focuses on the role place, and memory plays in the construction and deconstruction of identity, women's issues, the body as a medium of expression, and the interconnectedness between humans and nature.
Following her background in visual anthropology, she is interested in incorporating sensory ethnographic methods in visual storytelling.
