The Detroit Red Wings signed their 2021 1st round pick, Simon Edvinsson. Edvinsson emerged as a star for Frolunda in the SHL this season and turned in a very impressive season. Edvinsson will be looking to be one of the many upgrades needed on the Red Wings roster and defensive pairs.

We’ll take a deeper look at the Red Wings prospects on the defense, including the possibility of seeing Albert Johansson next season.
