The Detroit Red Wings will be drafting 8th overall for the 2022 NHL Draft. Many notable names will be available to the Red Wings at that point of the NHL Draft.

One of those names is Marco Kasper. Kasper is a somewhat productive, big, offensive-minded center who can create on his own. Kasper’s performance in the SHL playoffs, 6 points in 13 games, is tied for the most ever by a U18 player. On top of the production, Kasper turned heads with some highlight reel assists against top-level competition in the World Championship.

Elmer Soderblom got his ELC with the Red Wings. So we can finally start planning our trips to Grand Rapids! 

More good news for Sebastian Cossa. Cossa led the Edmonton Oil Kings to the WHL Championship with a series clinching shutout and heads to the Memorial Cup.
