Andrew Copp, Ben Chiarot, Dominik Kubalik, and Olli Maatta join Detroit Red Wings on the first day of NHL Free Agency. 

The Red Wings and Steve Yzerman worked hard on day one to add a strong two-way forward in Andrew Copp and some power play ability in Dominik Kubalik. On the left side of the defense, the Red Wings added a couple of veterans to compliment their young stars: Ben Chiarot and Olli Maatta.

The Red Wings were also able to add Ville Husso on draft day after moving a third-round pick and signing Husso to a three-year deal worth $4.75 million.

The Detroit Red Wings 2022 NHL Draft went well, with Marco Kasper being selected 8th overall. The Red Wings also selected Dylan James, Dmitri Buchelnikov, Anton Johansson, Amadeus Lombardi, and more!
