We had plans for this episode but ultimately discuss how Detroit Red Wings and their fans are reminded that Ryan Reaves is a goon and is still in the league. We discuss how his play does not belong in the league anymore and the rest of the NHL media needs to learn that.

Detroit Red Wings need to find a finisher or someone who can finish, especially after the Dylan Larkin injury. We discussed if that finish can be found somewhere in the locker room or if the WIngs would need to look outside of the organization. We also touch on ELmer Soderblom returning for the Red Wings while Dylan Larkin, Tyler Bertuzzi, Robbi Fabbri and Jakub Vrana remain out as well. 

Currently the Wings have some great Top 9 forward talent. But it is tough to definitively stamp anyone one of our forwards, without a Dylan Larkin, as a top line player, especially with the production we’ve been seeing. Dominik Kubalik, David Perron, Rasmussen, and Copp have shown flashes, and of course, the future is bright for Lucas Raymond and Jonatan Berggren, but none can easily be relied upon for a win.

THe boys also discuss the Red Wings' ability to slow down their opponent’s offense which has helped the likes of Ville Husso stand out as he continues to lead the Red Wings from between the pipes and is making an argument for himself to be in the Vezina conversation, thus far through the 2022-23 campaign.
