The Detroit Red Wings are dealing with Bo Horvat trade rumors and Dylan Larkin contract negotiations. In the meantime, Andrew Copp and the team played a great game against a not so great opponent, the San Jose Sharks. We’ll discuss it all with you!

Andrew Copp just played one of his best games as a Detroit Red Wing and we think we have some insight into how and why. Copp netted the game winner in OT vs the Sharks, so hopefully this is a sign of good things to come.

The Red Wings are also in the middle of the hottest trade rumors to hit the market in the NHL this season. While the Vancouver Canucks are turning into the embarrassment of the league, they are very transparent with what they want to do in their next steps. Bo Horvat is one of those next steps and while they’d like to keep him, shipping him out seems like the best option. 

While Bo Horvat is at the top of everyone’s mind, a related story, because it deals with another pending UFA in the NHL, Dylan Larkin is discussing with Steve YZerman his own extension. The Red WIngs and Larkin look to have agreed on 8 years, but have yet to agree on the AAV/salary.
