All season you have heard me talk about David. The love I have for him, the highs and lows of our relationship, the hurt, the challenges, the smiles, and the tears. I began to share my life with David at 21, as am 90 days away from my 31st birthday; I cannot help but reflect. We have had some character building circumstances take place in our lives. From that moment forward, when things got difficult, that was the first question I asked myself, "what is this teaching me?" ⁣⁣I had to believe that had something on the other side of THIS pain..⁣⁣ReDeefined the Podcast is a show that will showcase real people, who have gone through life changing and traumatic experiences, who many people counted out and said they wouldn't make it, but somehow they beat the odds and ReDeefined (get it, redefined?) themselves.⁣⁣Many people only see the end result of the storm, but they don't see the process, they do not see the struggle and I want to show them know matter how bad it gets, better days come; I am proof.⁣I love to share stories. As a mother it gets hard sometimes. We get up every day and we have little people who rely on us. It's hard some days because our world doesn't seem to have enough time. Some days our world may even seem small.

Yet to our children, we are their world. As mother we nurture, we are their home, their comfort. We teach them what they do not know, we hug them when they are scared, we hold their hands as we guide them, we love them unconditionally. We are everything to them.

But what happens when you lose your first and forever friend? What happens when you can no longer hear mama's voice, hold her hand, or see her smile; what happens when you must let go, but you are not ready.
