Jesus concludes the Sermon on the Mount with a call to lasting faith in who he is and what he teaches. He uses three word pictures to help us understand the qualities of a faith that lasts. In this sermon we look at the first word picture - "Enter the narrow gate." 

Don't be so critical, but be a little critical. Jesus teaches his disciples how to strike the balance. 

Jesus motivates his disciples to replace anxiety with a pursuit of the kingdom of God and his righteousness. 

Jesus addresses our financial fantasies, which interfere with our devotion to God. 

Jesus teaches us how to pray by contrasting his method with that of the Pharisees and the "babbling" Gentiles. 

All believers have new life through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
