In Psam 96, we see that we must boldly proclaim the glory of God in saving sinners through the Lord Jesus Christ to all the nations so that they might rightly worship Him. Those who bow down to Him will experience the joy of worshipping Him for all eternity while those who don't will be judged.

In this Psalm we see that it is extremely dangerous to evaluate life only through man-centered lenses. When, however, we have a God-centered perspective on life, understanding that his purposes are eternal, and understand the pattern of suffering-to-glory as demonstrated in the Lord Jesus Christ, then we can better understand all that's going on around us and glorify God with our minds set on eternity.

In this sermon we see that all believers should seek to find their satisfaction in communion with God, knowing that such communion is only possible by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, which will ultimately culminate in the perfect eternal communion with Him in the new heavens and new earth where we will enjoy Him and glorify Him forever.

In this sermon we see that forgiven sinners are extremely blessed by God as He leads them to see the heinousness of their sin, to genuinely confess and repent, and thus to experience the joy of God's complete forgiveness and assurance of divine preservation from judgment through the blood of Jesus.

In this sermon, we see that the Lord deals with the pride and mass rebellion of man by installing his anointed Son as King. Those who reject the Son will be judged and experience the eternal wrath of God, while those who bow down and worship the Son will be blessed forever in his eternal kingdom.

In this final passage in 1 Peter, Peter makes it clear that the persecuted church needs godly leadership, humility among all its people, and a watchful mindset to help it withstand the attacks of the devil and persevere to final glory

In this passage we see that Christians should prepare themselves for persecution (biblically defined), because it is something every follower of Christ will experience and thus, we shouldn't be surprised, but should instead rejoice, knowing that such persecution is the will of God and that it is far better to suffer a little persecution now than suffer final judgment later.

In this sermon we see that Christians should live their lives with the end in mind, resulting in a willingness to suffer hardship now, a purging of sin, a robust prayer life, and a deep sacrificial love for those they'll spend eternity with in their glorious inheritance.
