What is a Grow Group?

We are seeking to intentionally equip believers with the Word of God through accountable relationships empowered by the Holy Spirit in order to replicate faithful followers of Christ. This week on the podcast, we discuss Grow Groups and how they are structured to help us model and engage spiritual disciplines.

To be a disciple of Jesus is to be with Jesus. This week, we encourage your Grow Groups to reflect on what God has taught you about being with Him this year, and preview our readings in Matthew 14-18. "

"Restoration

This week in Matthew 9-13, we see Christ bringing restoration to His creation and talk about how God will restore His people and His creation completely when Christ comes back to judge sin and bring His righetousness."

"Redemption

God redeemed His people thru the sacrificial death and resurrection of Christ. This week we talk about how God's solution to the problem of sin and His acting to save us is the center of all history, and preview our readings in Matthew 4-8."

"Fall

To understand our world, we have to understand how sin entered into God's good creation. Man rebelled against God and the Bible tells the story of its effects and God's plan to redeem and restore what was lost. How does the Bible describe the effects of sin on humanity and our relationship with God?"

As we trace the storyline of the Bible, we start with creation. God is the creator and we are created beings. What role does creation play in the story of redemption and how can we look for it as we read? "
