This sermon was preached by Scott Kalcharno to our Middle School Students on the nature of true conversion.
Every one is searching for change but they can't seem to find it. Christians for centuries have confessed that true change is wrought by the Holy Spirit who enables us to respond to the gospel. This human, real, experiential response is what is called Conversion - The human response to the gospel that consists of Repentance from sin and faith in Jesus Christ. There is no such thing as a Christian who has not been converted. So have you experienced the change of Conversion?
This sermon was preached to high school students. There have been primarily three views of salvation throughout time: 1) Salvation by works 2) Salvation by works + God/grace (synergistic) 3) Salvation by Grace alone (monergistic). In this sermon JT breaks down these three major views and shows how John 3 proves the 3rd view.
