We are bound to listen the Son of God speak because He is revealed to us as creator, sustainer, redeemer, ruler, Gods final, ultimate revelation to humanity, surpassing Gods partial revelation through intermediaries -- prophets and angels.

God the Father reveals Himself to the humble through Jesus Christ yet is concealed from the proud by His own good pleasure.

God must work in you, in order to work through you.

Jesus Christ has always called His followers to live radically distinctive lives in a world at enmity with God. We must buck the trend of the mindless tolerance (of the world) and the avoidance of hard truth (in the Church), willing to declare the Truth with grace but without apology. We must more and more demonstrate to the world a love that is radical in sacrifice, acceptance and forgiveness, a reflection of Christ's own love.

It is not enough for the church to boldly and clearly proclaim the truth of the Gospel. We must demonstrate a depth of love that is unlike anything the world has ever seen, a sacrificial love like Christ's own love. It is only that astounding combination of truth and love that has the power to seize the attention of this generation and draw them to the Lord Jesus Christ.

Since salvation depends completely on repentance and belief in Jesus Christ, upholding and boldly proclaiming the Truth of Jesus Christ must be the central, all-consuming goal of the Church of Jesus Christ and each individual belilever.

What the world, living under a cloud of postmodernism and other empty ways of life, needs from Christians is that the world has always needed -- a clear proclamation of the Truth of the Gospel (as fleshed out in The Word, Jesus Christ) combined with a demonstration of radical, loving Christian community.

Throughout the history of the Church of Jesus Christ, professed followers of Christ have gotten off center in many ways. The church needs to be constantly on guard for anything that distracts from our primary role of proclaiming a robust Gospel message as ambassadors of the King.

We must accurately discern our times so that we can respond as a church and as individual believers in a way that best communicates the Gospel in our present day. A central aspect of post modern (or digimodern) culture is a radical relativism. The Apostle Paul describes the certain results when the Truth of God is discarded and the Lie is embraced. The Truth of the Gospel liberates from the Lie.

The triumph of the seed of the Jews by the hand of the hidden God through the intervention of Mordecai and Esther led to a silver age, a time of peace and honor, for Jews in the kingdom of Persia. God is at work on behalf of His people today, often in hidden ways, as we wait for the final triumph of Jesus Christ over all His foes and the beginning of the eternal golden age.
