Esther 8:15-9:16

The edict has gone out that the Jewish people are allowed to defend themselves against those who would attack them on the day Haman proclaimed. But how will God turn this event for his people’s victory? Listen in today and consider how the sovereign Lord reigns forever and ever, even over the kingdoms and peoples of this earth.

Esther 8:1-14

Haman has been hanged, but now what? The edict against the Jews is still in force. Can Esther convince the king to revoke that evil decree? Listen in today as we consider how God is going to work salvation out for his people.

Esther 7:7-10

Queen Esther has boldly declared her wish to her husband, the king. She has revealed the evil machinations of Haman. Esther 6:12-7:6

Haman has been utterly humiliated after having to honor Mordecai, his foe. But he gets no time to mourn, as the second feast that Queen Esther has prepared is set to begin. Esther 6:1-11

A bad night’s sleep seems sometimes to be just a part of life. But as God is sovereign over his creation, even these sleepless nights are used for his purposes. Listen in today as we see God at work in a king’s sleepless night and the proverb proved true: Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall.

Esther 5:9-14

As Haman leaves the fine feast that he has had with the king and queen, he sees something that makes his blood boil: Mordecai. What will Haman do when he sees the man who has been the source of much vexation? How should Haman’s actions and attitude instruct us? Esther 5:1-8

Esther and the rest of the Jews in the Persian capital have fasted and prayed for three days. Now, it’s the time for action. As Esther boldly steps forward before the earthly king, will the heavenly King give her grace and favor? Will God rescue his people from the schemes of the wicked after all? As Mordecai learns of the fate of the Jewish people because of Haman’s hatred of him, how will he break the news to his adopted daughter, the Queen Esther? More than that, will Esther be bold to approach her husband, the king, to save herself and her people?
