In this sermon we look at the first of John’s visions. Looking first at the situation in which John wrote the Revelation and also the first parts of his first vision.

In this sermon we embark on a new journey through the Revelation of Jesus Christ which was revealed to John the apostle. It is a book meant to reveal and to encourage the saints as the stand as conquerors in Christ.

As we come to these final verses in the book of Hebrews, we find one of the most beautiful benedictions in the Scripture. Ascribe the title of “God of Peace” and Christ as “the great Shepherd of the sheep” and giving us insight into the gospel of God.

As followers of Jesus Christ we no longer have to go through the temple worship of the Old Testament, but now we have an alter who is Christ himself and we do not shrink back from the reproach he bore, but go to him outside the camp and seek that city that is to come.

As we continue in the final chapters of Hebrews we see how the supremacy of Christ should impact the way we view marriage and the way we relate as husband and wife.

He is risen indeed! As we continue our study in the book of Hebrews we see the amazing benefits and results of Christs sacrifice on our behalf.

In this Good Friday sermon we see from the book of Hebrews how Christ offers himself as the all sufficient sacrifice for our sins. Unlike the many sacrifices of the Old Testament, Christ offers himself as the once for all sacrifice which has the ability to cleanse his people inside out!
