We have to be honest about what we want, where we are, and what we’ve done.
For this episode I will focus on these 3 areas in particular when it comes to giving yourself grace.
Below are the key points broken down so that you can apply grace to your life everyday from this point on!
What you want:Take some time to answer this question. You may not know yet, but once you figure it out put some goals in place so that you can get whatever it is that you want.
Are you willing to do the work to get it?
This is simple. All you have to do is answer the question above with a yes or no.
Are you willing to wait for it?
This is where we need the most grace. Be patient with yourself in this process. Great things take time. Sometimes it takes longer than we want but be willing to wait until you have what you want.
Where you are.Once you understand what you want be honest about where you are right now!
See what things you need to change to get to where you want to be. Give yourself grace.
Take inventory of the things you have and the things that you need.
Look at the things you have now. What can you use. If you need more work towards getting those things. But make sure it is in alignment with what you want overall.
3. What you’ve done. (Self reflection)
This is where you go back in a you clean somethings up. If you don’t have what you want and you don’t like where you are. Look at what you have been doing and change it. Forgive yourself and move forward. In this process don’t be to hard on yourself. Be patient with your process and give yourself grace.
