This is a bit of a different episode. Lately I've been having a multitude if conversations, with educators, clients, and kids on all grade levels, facing public education as we know it today in 2023. I am hearing so many more struggles students, teachers, and parents are having the last few years. Most public schools have introduced a Social Emotional Learning (SEL) curriculum to support students emotionally, normalize talking about feelings, and awareness of peer relationships. This is such a necessary shift within our educational system. However, the academic expectations, have not been adjusted to meet the needs of our post pandemic students and teachers.
