Our special black history month feature this week is Captain Treone Larvadain of the State Police of Louisiana. She is the first black woman to head the protective services unit in Louisiana in its 82 year history. Our host Sophia Nelson was in Baton Rouge for a speech last week and had the chance to sit with the new commander at a breakfast meeting and talk history with her. Great listen.
