In 1 Kings 19, Elijah is discouraged, isolated, and convinced he’s the only one left. But God meets him there, corrects his perspective, and sends him back with a purpose

What do you do when you’ve prayed, trusted God, and still see nothing? 

In 1 Kings 18, Elijah had God’s promise, but the sky was still empty. So he prayed. He waited. And he kept looking. Until the rain came. 

Maybe it’s time to look again.

In 1 Kings 18, Elijah draws a line in the sand: if the Lord is God, follow Him. This message exposes the empty promises of the things we chase and reminds us that false gods promise what only the true God provides.

It’s easy to follow God when the people around you are doing the same. But what about when they aren’t? 1 Kings 18 shows us what faithfulness looks like when following God puts you in the minority.

What do you do when God’s plan doesn’t make sense? In 1 Kings 17, Elijah learns that God’s provision may not always look the way we expect, but His Word can always be trusted. You don’t have to understand what God is doing to take Him at His Word.
